USAFA Access:

All parents and guardians of freshmen/new students for the school year at Air Academy HS will need to obtain a DBIDS (Defense Biometrics Identification System) card to gain access to the Air Force Academy.

To get your DBIDS you will need to go to the Base Pass & Registration office located at the South Gate entrance off of N. Academy Blvd. You’ll be able to get your DBIDS towards the end of May.

Base Pass is open Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:30AM-3:45PM. You’ll need to have your driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and vehicle registration. They will run a quick background check, take your photo and issue your ID card. This process could take upwards of 30 minutes to complete.
