What is Kadet Krew?
The band is supported by Kadet Krew (a 501(c)(3) Non-profit band booster organization). Our goals are:
- To promote and support the Air Academy High School Band and Color Guard programs including all instrumental music activities, trips, performances and ancillary activities.
- To help provide an educational musical experience to band students that will impact them as performers and life-long consumers of music.
- To provide volunteer assistance and to raise funds in support of the Band and Color Guard programs at Air Academy High School.
- To solicit and accept by subscription, gift, grant, donation, bequest, device or otherwise, money and property of any kind from any member of the general public and from any firm, association, trust, foundation or corporation, including any governmental unit for the above purposes.
Parents or legal guardians of a current or former student of the Band or Color Guard are eligible to be part of the Kadet Krew board.
All parents and legal guardians are encouraged to volunteer to support our band activities (for example: providing food for section dinners, chaperoning, and Pit Crew).
