RaiseRight

AAHS Band RaiseRight Program Information

What is RaiseRight?

RaiseRight is an easy way to help pay for your student’s band/guard fees. Funds are raised by buying groceries, dining out and – really, just spending money in the same places you normally do! And RaiseRight can be used digitally through their app or through physical gift cards. You can choose from hundreds of retailers including Amazon, iTunes/Google Play, Safeway, Chipotle, Red Robin, Olive Garden, Starbucks, Shell, Walmart/Sam’s, Home Depot and Lowes. The retailers provide a rebate on what you paid for the card, and the entirety of the rebate goes into your student’s individual band account.

A RaiseRight order will instantly generate electronic certificates, available in your RaiseRight account dashboard, with a direct link sent to your email. Use them directly from your phone, or print the certificate. Or you can choose plastic cards and the Kadet Krew will cover the shipping costs for plastic cards once per month. Cards will be shipped to the RaiseRight coordinator to be picked up. When you place an order for physical gift cards at any point in a given month, they will be available for pick up from the Coordinator around the 8th day of the following month.

Once your account is set up, order e-cards (immediate delivery/use) or plastic cards from more than 750 retailers. You purchase the cards at face value; the advertised rebate on each card is deposited into your student’s band account. The accumulated funds in your account can greatly offset (even cover!) upcoming band fees. Please note: all RaiseRight orders must be paid via credit card or linked bank account. Checks are not accepted by Kadet Krew.

How do I sign up for RaiseRight?

Contact Amanda (same email address) if you have questions or issues.

How is the rebate applied to my student’s account?

The easiest part is that a percentage of what you just spent (the rebate) is automatically deposited into your marching band account once a month. If you have more than one child in band, the rebate is applied to the account of the older student. These funds can be transferred to a different band sibling as the older student graduates or leaves band.
